A very impressive, 19th century, carving set with ornate sterling silver ferrules and hilts.  The set includes a carving knife, a six sided steel, and meat fork (BOX NOT INCLUDED).  They are clearly marked “HARRISON & HOWSON CUTLERS TO HER MAJESTY” with several hallmarks, and a “V crown R”.  The handles appear to be some type of antler or textured bone.  The fork is marked “Feby 8th 1881” and “SMITH’S PATENT” on the other side.

Condition: Handles show some use and two are cracked, but stable – Ferrules and hilts have a nice aged patina – Iron parts show some staining
